Directors Cut is best described as our founding fathers, Victor Lindh and Ulrik Pedersen, personal wardrobe favourites. The result of their continuous commitment to materials and a perfect fit, gathered from many years of researching the Japanese street fashion and craftsmanship tradition. Not only to be considered a more exclusive upper line of NN.07, there’s also an important personal and emotional take to it.

- With every NN.07 collection there are pieces, often personal favourites, which won’t make it to production for one reason or another: not aligned with the rest of the collection, not commercial enough for our retailers or simple just too expensive to produce. This was frustrating and at the end we had so many favourite “no go’s” we felt needed to be shown. They were the injection for Directors Cut, comments by Victor.

The first Directors Cut collection, out in 20 carefully selected shops across Scandinavia, introduces two models of tight fit pants: a pair of jeans in high quality raw Japanese selvedge. A pair of overdyed chinos for that authentic rugged look of traditional vintage. Shirts in finest cotton and hemp melange; t-shirts in washed-out natural fabrics; ribbed jerseys and knits complete the tops.

Colours are muted and earthy and range from off-white, khaki, grey, green, cognac, indigo and navy blue. No black or white can be found in the collection.

Words by Ulrik:

- This is a personal collection - straight from our hearts and hopefully right into the hearts, and wardrobes, of un-compromising guys with similar understanding for fashion. Guys that want to look their best and favour quality and a perfect fit.
